Prospective candidates are invited to take part in the CanoeKids – Summer Program Instructors Course hosted by CanoeKayak BC. This course is open to interested registrants 15 yrs of age and over. It is useful, but not necessary, to have a background in canoe racing. The course will be both instructional and “hands on” and will be facilitated by Ashley Rowe. The assessment portion will be included in the session ensuring that participants will be fully certified at the completion of the course.
Due to ongoing construction at Brechin boat launch, washroom facilities at the site will be limited (to 2 porta-potties) on February 16th. The permanent washroom facilities that are normally available on site will either be inactive or non-existant. Alternative facilities are currently being researched, but please be aware that this also means there will likely be NO running water available at the site that day.
