Each year, members of the NCKC get
together for some holiday cheer and paddle up and down Long Lake to
sing Christmas carols to the residents of the lake. Lights are
placed on the boats and we have our own mini - sail past! It is a
great event to take part in to get you into the holiday spirit!!
Members meet afterwards for a Club social where hot apple cider and cocoa are served alongside many delicious potluck items.
Dress warmly - it's always been a cold evening in December!
Sunday, December 9 - Caroling on Long Lake - Meet at the Boathouse - 4:30 - 6:00pm
To be followed by the NCKC Winter Social and Potluck from 6:30-9:30pm at the Nanaimo District Track and Field Club (off Wakesiah - behind NDSS at Rotary Bowl)
